Surviving your first year in business

Posted in : Business Advice on by : Josh

Nine out of ten new businesses are thought to fail. The following advice will help you get through your first year in business.

Make sure to conduct thorough research as your initial step. Depending on the goods, try it out first on close friends and relations before presenting it to a larger, less prejudiced audience. Additionally, research your rivals to learn how they operate and how you might improve.

Building a business plan will require time from you. Idea, Market, Operations, Financials, and FriendsĀ  (including advisors and those that can help you along the way) is a useful framework for thinking about it. Marketplaces like Amazon, Etsy, and eBay provide you access to buyers throughout the world, so you can immediately reach a larger audience without having to spend a lot of money on marketing.

Having procedures in place to ensure payment may sound absurd.
